Why Choose Us

What Sets Our Workshop Apart

Documented Condition

Every piece entering the workshop is photographed and assessed in writing before work begins. Owners receive a clear record of findings.

Decisions in Consultation

No non-reversible work proceeds without written confirmation from the owner. Your watch, your decisions — we advise, you choose.

Correct Specification

Parts are matched to original tolerances. Acrylic is preserved on vintage pieces where originality matters. Sapphire where precision demands it.

Regulated with Patience

After reassembly, movements are observed across multiple positions over several days before the watch is returned — not measured once and signed off.

Pressure Testing Included

Where applicable to the reference, dry and wet pressure testing is performed following gasket renewal. Results accompany the returned watch in writing.

Heritage Quarter Location

Our workshop sits in Kuala Lumpur's old commercial quarter — accessible by public transport, with appointments available Monday through Saturday.

Your Timepiece Deserves Considered Attention

Bring Your Watch to the Workshop

Whether your piece needs a routine service or comprehensive restoration, we begin with a conversation — no obligation, no pressure.

Questions & Answers

Frequently Asked

How do I know if my watch needs servicing?

The clearest signs are a change in timekeeping accuracy — gaining or losing more than a few seconds per day — or a movement that feels hesitant or stops intermittently. Fine mechanical movements generally benefit from service every four to six years, though this varies by calibre. If you are unsure, we are happy to assess the piece without commitment.

What happens during the intake process?

We photograph the watch on arrival and prepare a written assessment noting its current condition, any existing damage, and our initial observations. You will receive this before any service begins, and we discuss the appropriate scope of work together. Nothing proceeds without your agreement.

How long does a standard movement service take?

A Mechanical Calibre Service typically takes three to five weeks from intake to collection. This accounts for disassembly, staged cleaning, inspection, reassembly, and the observation period during which the movement is regulated across positions. Restoration work runs longer — ten to sixteen weeks is typical for the Premium Restoration Programme, depending on the depth of work required.

Will you work on vintage or discontinued references?

Yes. Vintage pieces are handled with particular attention to originality. Where parts are needed, we source components suited to the reference rather than substituting modern equivalents without discussion. If a component is unavailable or its procurement would compromise the piece, we will tell you plainly.

How is pricing determined?

The listed prices cover the standard scope of each service. If the assessment reveals additional requirements — worn components, secondary damage, or complications that alter the scope — we will outline this in writing and confirm the revised figure before continuing. There are no charges applied without prior agreement.

Is my watch insured while at the workshop?

Pieces left in our care are held securely on-site. We recommend that owners maintain their own specialist insurance for high-value timepieces as standard practice. We are happy to discuss storage arrangements or collection preferences for particularly significant pieces.
