What We Offer
Reasons to Choose

Core Advantages
Full Documentation
Every piece receives a written intake assessment and photographic record before work begins. You receive a copy.
Owner Consultation
No non-reversible action proceeds without your written agreement. You are consulted at each decision point, not informed after the fact.
Multi-Day Regulation
Movements are observed across positions over several days after reassembly — not signed off from a single timing machine reading.
Correct Specification
Parts are sourced to original tolerances. Vintage references retain period-appropriate components where originality is the owner's preference.
Pressure Testing
Dry and wet pressure testing follows all gasket work where the reference's rating calls for it. Written results accompany the returned piece.
Accessible Workshop
Located in Kuala Lumpur's old commercial quarter, accessible by rail and road, with appointments and walk-in enquiries welcome Monday to Saturday.
Professional Expertise
Trained Hands on Fine Calibres
Our principal watchmaker holds formal training in mechanical calibre service from a Swiss programme and has worked on references ranging from simple three-hand movements to column-wheel chronographs and hand-wound dress watches from major houses.
The breadth of exposure matters. A watchmaker who has seen a wide range of calibres in varying states of wear develops a more reliable sense of what is within normal range and what warrants closer attention.
What this means for your watch:
Our service sequence:
Process & Method
A Sequence That Holds to Proper Order
Watch service done at pace tends to follow a consistent sequence — not because efficiency demands it, but because each step depends on the one before. Cleaning before inspection yields more reliable data. Observation over time reveals what a single reading misses.
We do not compress this sequence to accelerate turnaround. The standard movement service timeline of three to five weeks reflects the time it takes to do each stage properly.
Value & Transparency
No Charges Without Prior Agreement
Our published prices cover the standard scope of each service. If the assessment reveals something that changes the scope — a worn component, secondary damage, or a complication requiring additional work — we outline the revised cost in writing and wait for your confirmation before continuing.
You will not receive an invoice that differs from what was discussed. This is not a policy we advertise as a feature. It is simply the basis on which the workshop operates.
Pricing structure:
Additional scope confirmed in writing before any charge is applied.

What Sets Us Apart
Distinctive Aspects of Our Practice
Photographic Service Record
For restoration work, we prepare a photographic record at each major stage. Owners receive this as part of the completed service — a reference for future assessment and a record of the work's scope.
Pre-Work Assessment at No Charge
You may bring a piece to the workshop for an initial discussion of its condition without obligation to proceed. Understanding what a service would involve should not require a commitment first.
Inherited & Undocumented Watches
Pieces without service history present specific challenges. We approach these with the thorough documentation process our standard intake uses, establishing a baseline before any work begins — a starting point for the piece's future care.
Climate-Aware Service Guidance
Kuala Lumpur's heat and humidity affect lubricant longevity and gasket integrity differently than temperate climates. We factor this into service interval guidance and storage recommendations for pieces not in regular use.
