Brought in a Patek that hadn't been serviced in close to twelve years. Ahmad was clear about what he found and what he recommended. I appreciated that he explained which parts were genuinely worn versus which could wait. The movement came back running well within tolerance and I have the documentation to prove it.

The crystal on my daily Rolex had a deep scratch from a fall and the crown seal was starting to show its age. Nurul explained the pressure test process before I left the watch. When I collected it the result was there in writing — which was reassuring given I still use it swimming. The work was tidy and the timeline was accurate.

My father's Omega Constellation came to me without any service records. I was uncertain whether to leave it unworn or have it looked at. The intake assessment here was detailed — I received a written report before committing to anything. They were straightforward about what had deteriorated and what was still serviceable. Fourteen weeks later it was back and running well.

I've had mixed experiences with watch services in KL — pieces returned with different problems, invoices that didn't match what was discussed. That hasn't been the case here. Every charge was confirmed before it was applied. The crystal on my IWC was replaced with correct sapphire and the watch came back exactly as described. I'll return.

Took in a vintage Seiko from the 1970s for a full service. The mainspring was done and some of the jewels had worn surfaces. They were honest that one part was difficult to source at period specification and presented the alternatives clearly. I chose the period-correct route and the watch was worth the wait — now running accurately and worn daily again.

Had three pieces serviced here over the past year — two chronographs and a dress watch. The attention to how each one was handled differed appropriately based on its condition rather than a standard package applied to all. The communication was measured and prompt. Not a rushed experience, which suits the nature of the work.

Case Studies

Three Watch Journeys

Case Study — Vintage Dress Watch

The Situation

A 1968 Longines dress watch inherited without service documentation. The movement was running but losing approximately four minutes per day. The owner intended to wear it regularly and wanted to understand its actual condition before deciding on a service path.

The Work

Intake assessment and photographs shared with the owner before proceeding. Full movement disassembly revealed a degraded mainspring and oil that had dried out over an estimated fifteen years. The mainspring was replaced with a period-specification equivalent. Case was cleaned but not polished at the owner's request.

The Outcome

Movement now performs within the original published tolerance of ±30 seconds per day, achieving approximately +4 seconds in daily wear. Original acrylic crystal retained. Owner now wears the watch daily. Total service time: four weeks.

Case Study — Sport Watch Restoration

The Situation

A collector acquired a 1980s dive watch at auction described as working order. On arrival at the workshop it was confirmed to have moisture ingress from a failed crown seal, and the crystal had a hairline fracture at the edge. Service records were absent.

The Work

Full Premium Restoration Programme. Movement disassembly confirmed limited corrosion on two components; sourcing required for a correct replacement. Crystal replaced with mineral glass to period specification. All gaskets renewed. Bracelet cleaned and end links addressed. Photographic documentation at each stage.

The Outcome

Pressure testing passed at the watch's original rated depth. Movement regulated to within tolerance. Written condition report and full photographic record provided. Timeline: thirteen weeks due to parts sourcing. Watch now in regular rotation within the collection.

Case Study — Modern Reference, Damaged Crystal

The Situation

A modern Rolex with a deep scratch across the sapphire crystal from contact with a metal surface. Movement in good service order. Owner wanted the crystal addressed without any other intervention to the case or movement.

The Work

Crystal and Gasket Renewal service applied. Correct sapphire replacement sourced. All gaskets throughout renewed as part of the service. Case exterior handled without polishing. Dry pressure test followed by wet test conducted. No additional work applied without request.

The Outcome

Crystal replaced and pressure integrity restored. Written test result provided. Owner collected within ten days of intake. Noted the case finish was untouched — the watch looked repaired rather than over-serviced.
